Dr. Lianne Rosen

C. Psych
Clinical and Health Psychologist

My approach to therapy is collaborative and strengths based. I will work with you to explore the scope of the problem(s) you are facing and to develop a plan of action. I practice using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I aim to create an open, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe to explore personal concerns, identify patterns that you might wish to change, and develop strategies to work towards your goals.

I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Victoria and my pre-doctoral Psychology residency at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. I have previously trained in a variety of clinical settings including The Ottawa Hospital, the University of Victoria Counselling Services, and in private practice. As a researcher, I focus on long-term adjustment and recovery among adult survivors of childhood maltreatment.
