As your therapist, I am here to create a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental environment where you will feel comfortable to share your experiences. I believe that therapy is not only about addressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, but also helping you uncover strengths and learn new skills to deal with the challenges that arise in life. I am open to a holistic way of counselling, incorporating the body, mind, and soul and I like to work collaboratively with my clients to develop a plan that is tailored to specific needs.
I draw mostly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporate other modalities such as solution-focused therapy and mindfulness-based therapy, should a client want to do so. I specialize in working with individual clients experiencing anxiety, depression, family and work stress, low self-esteem, difficulties with assertiveness, communication, and relationship issues.
